About Órlaith Clancy, Registered Dietitian
Órlaith Clancy is an Irish Registered Dietitian specialising in fertility, hormone health, performance nutrition, and general nutrition. She founded Órlaith Clancy Dietitian, a fully virtual dietetic clinic designed to empower clients through practical, compassionate, and evidence‑based guidance that cuts through the overwhelming noise of modern nutrition messaging. Her philosophy is simple: when clients understand the science behind nutrition, they are genuinely empowered to make informed choices that support their health and wellbeing.
Órlaith’s passion for fertility, hormone health, and performance stems from both professional expertise and her own lived experience. As a competitive runner, she has personally navigated relative energy deficiency in sport (RED‑S), hypothalamic amenorrhoea, and later received a diagnosis of PMOS (formally PCOS). Even with a background in dietetics, she understands how challenging and confusing it can be to navigate fertility, hormone health, and sports nutrition - and this is what drives her commitment to dispelling myths and providing clear, science‑led support.
She believes movement, nutrition, and fertility can coexist at every life stage. Her clinic was established to ensure clients never leave a consultation feeling more confused than when they arrived, but instead feel supported, informed, and confident in their next steps.

Approach
Órlaith’s approach shifts the focus away from aesthetics and towards meaningful, evidence‑based change. Whether you are seeking to optimise performance or fertility, reduce injury risk, restore your menstrual cycle, improve testosterone or sperm health, navigate endometriosis or PCOS, prepare for IVF or egg freezing, or manage perimenopausal changes, Órlaith provides tailored support for every stage of your journey.
She also believes food is far more than its nutritional profile - food is connection, pleasure, culture, and community. Her recommendations are always individualised, never “one‑size‑fits‑all”, helping clients rebuild trust in their bodies and develop a healthier, more confident relationship with food.
